The gameplay of Resident Evil is centered around survival. As the title character, you must explore an abandoned mansion in order to find out what happened and get yourself out of there. You will need to use the resources and weapons available to you, as well as your skills, to defeat the monsters and find the secret underground laboratory. In order to survive, you will have to equip yourself with weapons such as shotguns, machine guns, grenade launchers, crossbows, etc. There are various kinds of weapons and equipment, so you can choose the one you think will help you the most.
