The Resident Evil series is one of the most well-known horror video game series in the world, and it all began with the original game called Resident Evil. In this game, the player controls Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, two elite task force members who are sent to the outskirts of Raccoon City to investigate the disappearances of their team members. Soon after they enter the mansion, they are trapped there and must find a way to escape. They are forced to rely on their own resources and must fight off the hordes of monsters and zombies that are infesting the mansion.
